Bible Passage: Galatians 5:22, Genesis 26:12-35
Big Idea: Peace is a fruit of the Spirit
Leader Context: Peace is a fruit of the Spirit.  Most kids would rather be right than make peace.  Faced with a situation similar to Isaac’s in Genesis 26:12-35, it’s natural to try to stand up for what we feel we’re owed.  Peace always works out best for everyone.  Try these when your kids are arguing.  Coach them to find their own solution by asking questions like “What would be a good compromise that would work for everyone?” or “What can you do to show the other person peace right now?”
