All people have chosen to turn away from what God says is best and do what they think is best. This is a sin and deserves punishment.
Our sin messed up God's perfect creation and it breaks our relationship with Him. Sin even messed up our identity - who God created us to be and what He wants us to do.

BELIEVE
Jesus Gave & Invites
God loves the world so much that He sent Jesus into the world to rescue people from their sin.
God invites us to believe that Jesus lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, and came back to life three days later so that we can have a relationship with Him.
When we believe in Jesus, as our Savior, our sins are forgiven, heaven becomes our forever home, and we have a relationship with God.

We Pursue & Share
As believers, we have a new identity - child of God. We are new creations who follow Jesus to become more like Him and tell others about Him while we hold onto hope and promise that one day everything will be made new and every wrong will be made right.

What does it mean to believe in Jesus?
The good news of the Gospel is that God gives life to all who believe in Jesus as their Savior. In fact, your belief in Jesus and what He did for you is the only thing that can save you. This makes your understanding of what it means to believe in Jesus for salvation of the utmost importance.
Believing is more than recognizing that a man named Jesus once lived. Believing is also more than agreement with a set of principles, philosophies, or a way of life. One can believe in a historical Jesus and appreciate His teaching but not be saved and live separate from God.
Belief is the conviction that the Gospel is true, reliable, and personally needed. When one believes the right things about Jesus and themselves, they know that they are a sinner who needs a Savior and that Jesus is their Savior.
