April 27: Jesus Gave the Great Commission
Bible Passage: Matt 28:16-20; Mark 16:15-18; Luke 24:48-52; Acts 1:4-8
Bottom Line: I can share the truth.
Leader Context: After Jesus rose from the dead but before He returned to heaven, He gave His followers a mission. (Read Acts 1:7-8.) Jesus told His disciples to share the truth “to the ends of the earth,” and He tells us to do the same. Let’s help kids see that they can share the truth about Jesus near and far. When they share Jesus, they can be confident they are stepping up and living set apart.
