Deacons at Parkway are servants.   Deacons serve three vital roles in our church family:  they pray for the health of the church, promote unity within the church, and they serve to meet the needs of the church.  Deacons serve through many ministries of the church and support the church by serving the Lord's Supper, helping with baptism, and meeting other needs as they arise.

DEACON NOMINATION

This year, we are prayerfully seeking to add deacons at all locations.  We are looking for men who have a heart for Jesus, are active servants in the church, and are committed to the message and mission of Parkway Church.

Over the few months, we will nominate, screen, and call deacons.
  • Deacon Nomination:  January 12 - February 9
  • Deacon Screening:  Mid February through Early March
  • Deacon Confirmation:  May Business Meeting
  • Deacon Ordination Services to Follow
