Jesus meets us in life's most defining moments, giving us a new identity.  Through real encounters from the Gospel of Luke, we see that Jesus doesn’t label us by our past—He redeems it. In Him, every label is replaced with a new name: loved, forgiven, and free.

WHEN SHAME MEETS GRACE

Read: Luke 7:36–50

Focus: The woman who wept at Jesus’ feet reminds us that our past doesn’t define us—Jesus does.
Reflect: What labels have you allowed to stick? Bring them to Jesus and receive His grace.
Pray: “Jesus, thank You for forgiving me fully. Help me walk in the new name You’ve given me.”

WHEN ANGER MEETS MERCY

Read: Luke 9:51–56; Ephesians 4:26–32

Focus: Jesus rebuked His disciples for wanting revenge and chose peace instead.
Reflect: Where do you need to replace anger with mercy this week?
Pray: “Lord, help me respond with mercy when my heart wants revenge.”

WHEN SADNESS MEETS HOPE

Read: Luke 18:35–43; Psalm 34:17–19

Focus: Jesus hears the cries others ignore. He stops for faith.
Reflect: What burden feels unseen right now? Cry out to Him—He stops for you.
Pray: “Jesus, thank You for hearing me. Fill my sadness with Your hope.”

WHEN REJECTION MEETS GRATITUDE

Read: Luke 17:11–19; 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18

Focus: Ten were healed, but only one returned to thank Jesus. Gratitude completes the healing.
Reflect: What blessings have you rushed past?
Pray: “God, thank You for every good gift. Help me return to You with gratitude.”

WHEN FAILURE MEETS FORGIVENESS

Read: Luke 22:54–62; John 21:15–19

Focus: Peter denied Jesus—but Jesus came back for him.
Reflect: Where have you failed and felt disqualified? Jesus restores and recommissions you.
Pray: “Lord, thank You for forgiving me. Help me live from Your grace, not my regret.”
