Is the Bible Inspired? Lesson 2

Pastor Kim Simmons teaches Lesson 2 from "A Survey of Bible Doctrine" by Dr. Charles Ryrie. This lesson looks at the how the canon or books included in the Old and New Testaments were selected. We also compare the reliability of the Bible as it compares with other books from the ancient world and then which Bible should you use. This lesson also discusses understanding the Bible as well as the differences in translations of the Bible. Finally there is a chart adapted from Dr. Ryrie that shows the entire process from revelation from God to inspiration of the original manuscripts of the Bible to translation, illumination, interpretation and communication of the Word of God to others.
