Jesus' Humble Birth

God’s Son, our King, wasn’t born in a palace. He was born in a stable. He wasn’t placed in a fancy crib. He was wrapped in cloths and placed in a manger - a feeding trough for animals.

So, why did God send His Son like this?

Jesus left heaven for earth and He was born in the most humble of places, a stable. His birth reminds us not only of God’s love for us but also the reason that Jesus came. He didn’t come to be powerful or to be pampered. He came to give His life for the world.
