Weekend

6th -7th Grade

Throughout the school year we will be hosting three weekend experiences we call "The Weekend" for specific student age groups (6-7th, 8-9th & 10-12th).  As part of the weekend, students will have lots of fun, engage in great worship, Biblical teaching that focuses on issues and opportunities specific to their lives.

For the 6-7th grade Weekend, we we will be challenging students to ask some key questions in their faith. How do your friends influence you? How is culture influencing you? Who are you influencing? Seeking out goldy answers to these questions in our faith is a key step in the life of a follower of Jesus.

WEEKEND FOCUS

THE POWER OF INFLuence IN OUR FAITH

So often, we say, "I wish I had known _______." We wish somebody had warned us about the pitfalls in our lives and our faith that they experienced. As followers of Jesus, this is exactly what we are called to do. We are called to share the lessons we have learned in our faith with others so that they can learn and grow as followers of Jesus. 

During the 6-7th weekend, we will have older students and adults share with 6-7th graders what they wish they had known when they were in junior high, lessons in their lives, and faith.
